Symbiotic, a restaking project enabling networks to customize their staking implementation, has secured $29 million in a Series A funding round led by Pantera Capital. Participants in the funding round included Coinbase Ventures and over 100 angel investors such as AAVE and Polygon. The funds will be used to launch the Universal Staking framework, which aims to transform staking from a single-network security mechanism into a universal coordination layer for broader economic coordination in blockchain infrastructure.
